Textile Industry Investment Subsidy

An investment subsidy initiative for textile sector industries is being administered by the textile ministry. This scheme is open to businesses involved in weaving, clothing manufacture, technological textiles, and jute, silk, and handloom manufacturing.

If an individual wants to modernize his textile equipment in an existing unit or start a new one with the newest technology, they can take advantage of the following benefits under this plan:

• A subsidy of 10% or 15% of eligible equipment costs can be received.
• The highest subsidy amount permissible for a project is Rs. 30 crores
